Set your fishing rod to Hotkey "1" in the game. Make sure you are in First-Person View before starting the bot. Then select the scanner area in FishingBuddy where your bobber is located. Press F12 to start and stop fishing.

After logging in, you can find your purchases, licenses, and available downloads in your personal dashboard.

Your license is linked to your user account. You can view its status and remaining duration in your dashboard.

FishingBuddy analyzes the selected area of your screen and does not require direct access to the game process. It works by continuously capturing and analyzing the specified screen region to identify relevant visual elements, such as the fishing bobber and changes in its appearance or position. Based on these visual cues, FishingBuddy automatically detects when an action is required and responds accordingly.

The tool operates independently of the game's internal process and does not need to read, modify, or inject data into the game. All detection is performed through the visible information presented on the screen, making FishingBuddy a screen-based automation tool rather than a process- or memory-based solution.

Because FishingBuddy is an automation tool that interacts with the visible content of your screen and performs automated actions, some antivirus programs or Windows Defender may occasionally flag it as a potentially unwanted application (PUA) or suspicious software.

This can happen because security software often uses behavioral detection rather than simply checking whether a program contains known malware. Software that captures parts of the screen, monitors visual changes, simulates mouse or keyboard input, or performs automated actions can resemble the behavior of certain types of unwanted software.

FishingBuddy does not require direct access to the game process and does not need to modify or inject code into the game. Its detection system works by analyzing the selected area of your screen and reacting to what is visually detected.

First, make sure that you downloaded FishingBuddy from the official source and that the downloaded file has not been modified.

You need to add an exclusion/exception for the FishingBuddy application or its installation folder in your antivirus software if it continues to quarantine or block the program.

Important: Never disable your antivirus completely just to run FishingBuddy. Only create an exception if you trust the source of the software and have verified that you are using the official, unmodified version.
